Kinaata describes Queenaata in new song ‘Sweetiepie’

maxresdefault (1)A possible winner of this year’s ‘New Artiste of the Year’ at the Ghana Music Award, Kofi Kinaata has detailed how he wants his wife, Queen Atta to look like in a song titled ‘Sweetie pie.’

Love is one of the difficult and very challenging subject to be addressed by most Songsters. This is because, often, fans have misinterpreted or have delved deep into this private side of Artistes (the love side). This leaves many Artiste with the choice of addressing other sectors without touching so much on love and even if they do, they do it fictitiously.

The globally acclaimed Fante rap god, Kofi Kinaata in a yet to be released song ‘Sweetie pie’ has gone all out addressing how he would want his woman. In the song, the Kinaata sings and raps to succinctly detail the listener about how deep he will fall in love with the said lady whom he nicknames Queen Atta.

Asking him why he decided to sing and didn’t farm out the chorus aspect of the song, Kinaata told www.233times.net that, “When you have a story to tell, you know how to tell it better, no one can tell your story better than you so I think it is better to do everything myself since it talks about my love life. This is a song I seriously talked about my love life so I have to be serious with every aspect and make sure I do it well myself.”

In the song, he sends a strict warning to Actors Majid Michel and John Dumelo to stay away from his girlfriend, Queen Atta, since they are possible threats and if they dare try, they would end up with jaundice, urinating yellow. The slow tempo song is a mixture of Fante and Ga dialects.

The love song will be released today, 15th January, 2016.
