Beyonce is one of the biggest stars out there right now, but apparently she wants to be even bigger!
It’s been reported that the music icon has ended her business relationship with her longtime management and hired a completely new team to land bigger and more lucrative deals!
According to Page Six, the Queen has parted ways with Lee Anne Callahan-Longo, who has been her general manager for five years.
The Diva is now working with Steve Pamon, former head of sports and entertainment marketing at JPMorgan Chase — who also scored the bank’s sponsorship of Beyoncé and Jay Z’s On the Run tour in 2014!
A source said to take her career to a higher level, 34-year-old fired her whole team — including her cousin — explaining:
“Beyoncé basically cleaned house, got rid of her whole team, which included her cousin, and hired a new team. She wants to surround herself with business people who could take her career to an even higher level. She has one album left to deliver before her deal is up with Columbia, plus she wants to make smarter decisions where it comes to touring, sponsorships and acting roles.”
Blue Ivy’s‘s momma brought Pamon to her company Parkwood Entertainment last year, as well as former Universal Republic and Island Def Jam executive Peter Thea!
As for Bey’s former manager, it sounds like the split was amicable. Her rep Yvette Noel-Schuresaid in a statement:
“Lee Anne Callahan-Longo has worked with Beyoncé for the last 10 years. Their friendship supersedes business, and while she is no longer an employee of Parkwood, she will remain an imperative part of Beyoncé’s life.”
