SEKONDI: Family dumps deceased relative’s corpse in house of alleged killer’s parents

Family of a girl who was reportedly assaulted to death last Monday at Abuesi near Shama (Sekondi) has angrily deposited the corpse in the room of the Parents of the boy who allegedly assaulted the victim as a sign of protest.

The body was there overnight before police intervened and conveyed it to the morgue. The deceased, Mary Eduasa, a class 6 pupil who was said to be watching Television in the street together with the boy on Monday, February 15, 2016 reportedly asked the boy, about 10, (name withheld) to position himself well because he had block her view, a plea that didn’t go down well with the boy resulting in a brawl.

The lady was said to have fallen unconscious after the boy allegedly kicked her in the groin. She was rushed to the Volta River Authority (VRA) Hospital in Aboadze but was pronounced dead on arrival.

Uncle Amadu who is the father of the deceased says the police is still investigating the matter whilst the where about of the alleged killer is still unknown.
