T.Poly Lecturer causes stir in Takoradi

1554345_960993400649792_6241410481688752315_nThe middle aged man who caused a stir in the rush hour on Tuesday morning, February, 23, 2016 at the Takoradi Market Circle has interestingly turned out to be a Lecturer with the Art Department at Takoradi Polytechnic.

The Cynosure whose name has been given as Rex brought the usually brisk business activities in the Central Business District Area of Takoradi to a Standstill when he positioned himself out of the blue in front of the Cluster of Banks around the Post Office Area.

Dressed in a white gown with a hat-like material covering the entire head, bewildered passers-by struggled in vain to identify him and his reason for being there.

About three uniformed policemen also tried in futility to remove the hat to identify him, neither could they even pull him with all the strength they exerted on him.

It was after the man had voluntarily started moving away that he was overpowered and taken to the Market Circle Police Station where he surprisingly told the police he was embarking on what he called INSTALLATION ART, meaning he achieved his aim

He has since been released.
