UK murder suspect extradited

cd900f19a91331f30440aa21556a3d61_LArthur Simpson-Kent, the British, accused of murdering his partner and kids, was last night flown back to the UK from the Kotoka International Airport  to face trial.

The suspect, 48, was arrested in Ghana on January 9, 2016, after the bodies of his partner, Sian Blake 43, and their two children, Zachary 8, and Amon 4, were found buried in shallow graves in a garden in the house where he stayed with them.

He fled to Ghana on December 19, 2015, after allegedly committing the murders.

Upon an international alert for his arrest which was put out by Interpol, Kent was arrested in the Western Region of Ghana on January 9, 2016, following police intelligence.

During a court appearance in Ghana on January 26, 2016, Suspect said through his lawyer, Justice Srem Sai that he wanted to be sent to the UK for trial.
