Revelers as well as natives who had thronged the Kwahu Ridge in the Eastern Region for the Easter festivities over the weekend were taken by surprise when they saw saloon cars with customized number plates – ‘Vote NPP 2016.’
The two Sanaya saloon cars were spotted on the streets of Obomeng and Mpraeso.
Scores of the holiday makers, who spotted the vehicles, rushed to take shots of them and posted them on social media.
Some also took selfies with the customized cars.
Passersby, who got the media to focus on the customized number plates, were seen discussing the subject in groups.
They were obviously amazed at the zeal with which a member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) went for such costly customized number plates to campaign for the party towards the November polls.
The owner of the white saloon Sanaya cars with tinted glasses was nowhere to be found whenDAILY GUIDE spotted them at Obomeng.
They were also among the convoy of Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo, the NPP 2016 presidential candidate, who took advantage of the Easter celebration on the Kwahu Ridge to embark on a campaign.
