– “Good Friday is not just a day we as Christians must take lightly. It is the day that Jesus gave His life for us and a day we must be appreciative of His sacrifice. Where would you and I be today if the Lord had not laid down His life for us? That is why we can never offer Him anything less than our lives,” Bishop Heward-Mills said in a blog-post

President John Dramani Mahama on Friday attended the 2016 Good Friday Miracle Service organised by Lighthouse Chapel International at the Independence Square.

The host pastor for the event and the founding Bishop of the Lighthouse Chapel International denomination,  ?Dag Heward-Mills noted that the annual Good Friday service is a time when Christians remember the sacrifice of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

“Wow. What a day?!

We thank God for yet another wonderful and historic Good Friday Miracle Service today in Accra, Ghana. What a blessing!

Today, thousands of members from the Lighthouse Chapel International denomination in the Accra and Tema metropolis gathered at the Independence Square of Ghana to experience and enjoy this year’s miracle service. The Lord was with us.

I preached about “The Blood of Lamb” and by the grace of God, many many souls were won for Christ. We heard fantastic testimonies of miraculous escapes from death and we witnessed amazing testimonies of healing tonight.

It was an honour to have the President of Ghana, President John Mahama grace the occasion with his presence and also to address the gathering.

Archibishop Nicholas Duncan Williams, our papa, also honoured us greatly with his presence and powerful prayers for the nation and the church,” Bishop Heward-Mills posted on his Facebook page.
