Residents of Pariscoa, a suburb of Sekondi in the Western Region were shocked to the marrow when news of two minors who went to steal sewing machines in the vicinity reached them.
The two suspects, 14 and 16 (names withheld because they are minors) broke into a kiose belonging to one Agnes Essilfie, a retired Nurse in the midnight of Tuesday, April 19, 2016 and stole the two sewing machines; one Electrical and the other Manual.
When they were running away with the booty, a neighbour who was going to see off a visitor spotted them and raised an alarm causing the two to take to their heels.
Luck eluded the 14 year old boy as he was arrested with the manual Machine, however the 16 year old managed to escape with the Electrical one and efforts are being made by both police and some residents to trace his whereabout.
The owner of the Machines, Mama Essilfie tells www.233times.net’s Nhyiraba Paa Kwesi Simpson when the suspect led neighbours to his family’s residence at Adiembra, another Sekondi Suburb, the Parents lamented to them how recalcitrant the boy has been and their readiness to ensure he was dealt with according to law.
