Ghana’s leading success and personal development website, Newaccra.Com, has released the 2016 edition of the Newaccra Achievers Report, a celebration of unsung Ghanaians making impact and showing promise in diverse fields.
This year’s edition is titled ‘The 2016 Newaccra Achievers Report; 30 Ghanaians About to Shake The World’. The complete 35-page report features a list of honourees and detailed analysis, profiles, and forecasts on the state of youth activities in Ghana.
A total of thirty (30) individuals were honoured in the categories of business and leadership, society and education, creative arts, healthcare and food, and technology and media. The key trends discussed in this issue are the continued rise of creative businesses, the growth in social entrepreneurship, and the increasing numbers of females in social enterprise.
2016 marks the third consecutive year of the report, and it is the first time ever that an equal number of male and female achievers make the honour list. More than half of this year’s achievers are entrepreneurs. Newaccra Achievers are selected by a rigorous consultative methodology that ensures honourees have actually achieved something that will be considered outstanding among peers, and have demonstrated potential for greater future impact.
The project manager, Kwamina Sagu Ekremet, commented saying, “We continue to fulfill our quest to highlight Ghana’s future global movers. For as long as the youth continue to apply themselves in their areas of vocation, enterprise and passion, Newaccra will be there at the tipping point of their glory, to showcase them to the world. Kudos to our 2016 achievers, you are beacons of hope for a rising continent”.
The Team Lead of Newaccra.com, Eric Kumah, explained “since we took on this responsibility of publishing a trusted report on Ghana’s youth, several key social and business leaders have used our reports for important programmes. We are grateful for the high level of trust people give us, and that trust pushes us to never stop getting better.”
Consistently released over the past three years, Newaccra Achievers Report has been described as a credible reference for entreprenuers, investors and donors, business leaders, academics, policy makers, media and civil society. Newaccra.com is Ghana’s leading success and personal development website.
The detailed thirty-five (35) page report features a list of achievers, profiles, detailed analysis, trends, and forecasts. It is available online for free download at Newaccra.com/emerge.
