Oscar award winner Abraham Atta has revealed that the Assin Central Member of Parliament, Ken Agyapong, who is noted for his benevolent and philanthropic acts, paid his school fees when he met him a destitute some years back Ashaiman.
According to him, that singular act by Kennedy Agyapong made a significant impact in his life and that is what has landed him where he is.
Abraham Atta, the Oscar award-wining Ghanaian prodigy, said this when he paid a courtesy call on Kennedy Agyapong at his residence in Assin Fosu in the Central Region to thank him for making significant contributions towards his education when he was growing up in Ashaiman.
The Oscar award winner expressed gratitude to Hon Kennedy Agyapong and wished him God’s blessings for his munificence towards the needy and downtrodden in society.
On his part, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong advised young celebrities in the country not be overtaken by fame and glory, but to be circumspect and respectful at all times.
He noted that most talented young men and ladies, after being raised to certain heights within the twinkle of an eye, get swollen-headed and act in ways which later land them in difficult and sometimes disgraceful situations.
