A newly born bouncing baby boy who was abandoned at a Cemetery at Mpintsin near Kojokrom in the Sekondi/Takoradi Metropolis has been rescued and is receiving attention at Stratford Clinic in the Same community.
Kofi Hackman, the Good Samaritan who rescued the baby tells YOURS IN THE INDEFATIGABLE SERVICE OF GHANA, NHYIRABA PAA KWESI SIMPSON of Skyy Power Fm he was attending to a nature’s call at a section of the Cemetery when he heard an unusual noise in a bush nearby. He became alarmed and traced the noise to the scene where he eventually saw a baby boy wrapped in a polythene bag lying beside a tomb.
He raised an alarm that attracted some neighbours and one of them, a middle aged woman helped in pulling the baby from the tied polythene bag.
He was taken to the Clinic where he is currently receiving treatment. The C.E.O of the Clinic, Madam Sarah Edith Kwofie who has become fond of the baby says she will be using the necessary process to see if the Social Welfare would give her the chance to adopt him.
Interestingly, the baby has been endeared to the Good Samaritan who has also expressed interest in adopting him saying, he has five biological daughters and would like to have a boy in addition.
The culprit is yet to be traced.
