Sekondi: 200 potential voters turned away (PHOTOS)

There has been a shortage of Registration Materials at Fijai in the Essikadu/Ketan Constituency in the Sekondi/Takoradi Metropolis making potential voters who had gone to Register stranded.

One of the disappointed persons who called www.233times.net’s Nhyiraba Paa Kwesi Simpson to inform him on Wednesday afternoon says items affected by the shortage include Lamination Materials, Guarantee forms among others.

According to him, students from Arch Bishop Porter Girls Senior High who came to register have gone back to the campus because of the shortage whilst over 80 people have remained in the queue for over one hour waiting for arrival of more materials.

James Ackon, the Constituency Chairman for Essikado/Ketan Constituency who also phone in a moment later to collaborate the story claims its a deliberate ploy by the EC to deny many prospective voters to Register in NPP strongholds.
