Fans question Genevieve Nnaji as she buys $17,000 handbag (PHOTO)

213731923_572167Nigerian Actress and African super star, Genevieve Nnaji is being butchered by fans for allegedly stepping out with a handbag rumoured to have cost her $17,000 dollars.

The handbag at the centre of the hullabaloo is an African print Hermes Birkin bag. Few hours after an account on Instagram posted a photograph of Genevieve rocking the handbag with a casual ensemble some critics started posting various comments about the price of the bag.

The debate, Ghanavibes.com has gathered from the post is that the bag is too pricey and the actress shouldn’t be spending so much on a bag. While some are of the view that she can afford it and should be left alone others think she shouldn’t be holding such a bag with an exorbitant price tag. Genevieve to some has enough and can decide to do whatever she likes with her money.

Others think she should rather invest that money into something than spending it on a mere handbag.

Below are some quotes …

Bag that you cannot resell or take to grave when you die …
“And how did she come by all that money for just a bag?
end time bag what a waste…
””BTW 17,000 USD is ordinary 4,318, 000 Naira with flexible CBN rate today. And she didn’t announce price ooo”. ”Hope she paid in full. No credit this time around”.
