Controversial relationship counselor, Reverend George Lutterodt, has accused mothers of being the reason fathers are not celebrated on Father’s Day.
According to the radio and TV counselor, father’s Day is least observed because of the “greed” and selfishness of mothers.
Speaking on Morning Starr Tuesday, the maverick preacher said mothers deliberately prevent children from developing parental affection for fathers.
“Men are facing all these challenges because of the greediness and selfishness of mothers. Mothers are very wicked that’s why fathers are not celebrated and a lot of children are suffering in this world because of the wickedness and greediness of women,” he said.
He continued: “Men don’t need to be recognised on any special day. Once I pay the light bill, I’m celebrated, once I pay for your hair, I’m celebrated, I provide shelter, I’m celebrated. Fathers are being celebrated because they produce children”.
Lutterodt added that mothers have denied most children the opportunity to acknowledge their fathers because of their greed. He said women always pretend to be providers when in reality, everything is done by men.
“A lot of people, as old as 30 years, are walking in town without knowing who their biological fathers are, because of the greedy nature of mothers. “Mothers need to train children to appreciate their fathers for carrying out their fatherly role in the home and not to turn them away from them”.
Father’s Day is a celebration that honours fathers across the world. This year’s celebration falls on Sunday June 19.
