Prez. Mahama donates to veterans in music and movie industry (PHOTO)

886702098_782331As part of his dream to see to a better welfare of Veterans in the Ghanaian Music and Movie Industry, His excellency President John Dramani Mahama has made donations to some selected veterans over the week.

Though the President could not be part of the delegation, which includes top personalities , coordinator for Celebrities for Mahama, and Mr. Beautiful who led the delegation, made it known to the veterans that the very day President Mahama’s mother passed on was the same day that visit was scheduled so it had to be postponed to the next day.

According to Mr beautiful, it took the intervention of the President before he could locate the houses of most veterans which make it very clear that the President is committed to their well-being.

Almost all the veterans attested to the fact that this is not the first time the President is sending a delegation to them.

According to the wife of the late akan Drama Star, Odompo, who spoke to Ghanapoliticsonline.com, the President himself checked up on her family, adding that she really appreciates that gesture.

‘Kohwe’ on the other hand, said that in the past he heard most of his colleagues talk about the President’s visit to them and he is very glad it’s gotten to his turn.

He added that, the money he received can do a lot for him and that the President has proven himself to be very passionate about the Showbiz Industry.

Some of the veterans that benefited from the cash advance and foodstuff donations on the first day included Mc Jordan Amartey , Mr Mensah, Kohwe, Odompo, JA Adofo, CK Mann, Grace Nortey etc .
