Prez. Mahama has already won the elections – Mr. Beautiful

mrbeautiful2Popular Ghanaian actor, Mr. Beautiful otherwise known as Clement Bonney, has made an affirming statement that President John Mahama has already won the elections.

Mahama “has already won the elections,” the very vocal supporter of President Mahama said in an interview with Hitz FM.

He made the declaration while reacting to concerns that the president’s support for some veteran actors is an attempt to induce them to vote for him.

‘Mr Beautiful’ is the project coordinator for ‘Celebrities for Mahama’ which has been supporting creative arts veterans with huge sums of money to cater for their health and general welfare for some time now.

He noted that “This is not the first time the President has been supporting the veterans, he started about three years ago and I am the one who mobilizes that. As for what the president gives them, it is not important, what is important is; he gives them money to cater for their hospital bills and general welfare.”

Touching on the possible influence of such support to the veterans, he explained that, “If someone has done something for someone and that person wishes to return the favor, what do you care about the influence? He (Mahama) is not being philanthropic for people to vote for him, whether they (Ghanaians) like it or not, the man has already won the elections.”

Mr Beautiful is one of Ghana’s finest and versatile actors who has over the years won the admiration of many Ghanaians with his comic style of expressing himself in the English language.
