Prez. Mahama’s mother to be buried on June 17

618268167_926595The late mother of Ghana’s President, John Dramani Mahama is likely to be buried on Friday, June 17 at Busumura in the Damongo district of the Northern Region, Joynews has gathered.

District Chief Executive (DCE) for Damongo, Ali Kassim, has earlier on disclosed to Joynews that he is awaiting communication from the elders in Accra.

Responding to a question about the place the first gentleman’s mother would be buried, Kassim said: “I know she is going to be buried in Busumura.”

He, however, added that the determination of the final burial place would be communicated on June, 16.

The late Abiba Nnaba died at the SSNIT hospital here in Accra on June 14.
