Prez. Mahama supports Woyisi with GHC5,000

394969276_48372President John Dramani Mahama has donated an amount of GHC5,000 to Kumasi-based actor, Wayoosi.

Joseph Nana Osei Kofi as known in real life was reported to be in a critical condition and receiving treatment at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH).

Confirming news of the donation to abrantepa.com, Clement Bonney (Mr Beautiful) who is the Project Coordinator for ‘Celebrities for Mahama’ said the president made the donation through the Ministry of Tourism.

“It’s true the president has made a donation to Wayoosi. He will go and pay him a visit next week. He did so through the Tourism Ministry,” he said.

A check by abrantepa.com reveals that the said amount has been handed over to Asare Bediako, a movie producer, director and a member of ‘Ashanti Faithfuls for Mahama’.

President John Mahama has in recent times extended a hand to celebrities in need through the ‘Celebrities for Mahama’ which seeks to better the welfare of old personalities in the arts.

The project has seen C.K. Mann, J.A Adofo, Kofi Laing (Kohwe), Paapa Yankson, Ewurama Badu, William Addo benefit.
