Sekondi/Takoradi: 2 teenage thieves escape after decision to burn them alive (PHOTOS)

Two boys who are said to have been robbing residents of Butumegyabu, a community near Sekondi for a long time escaped death by a skin of the teeth after neighbours who arrested them rescinded thier decision to burn them alive

The suspects, Nana Kwame and Nana Ahenfia, all 15years old were arrested in the early hours of Sunday, August, 14, 2016 around 1am at BU near the Takoradi Polytechnic Campus with stolen items including Laptops, Fans and other personal effects

They were identified to be neighbours in the same vicinity who are suspected to have been frequently breaking into homes and Students’ Hostels to steal

This suspicion infuriated the neighbours who arrested them to tie them to a tree, beat them to the pulp after which they put tyres around their neck to burn them They were eventually pardoned after passionate plea from some relatives.
