Rumours that former New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential hopeful, Alan Kyerematen has died in London have been refuted by his special assistant, Nana Yaw Adutwum.
Social media publications had claimed the man nicknamed Alan Cash and Alan K died on Tuesday in a London hospital where he had been flown to following an alleged heart complaint.
But Nana Yaw Adutwum who acknowledged that the rumours had gotten to the Alan office Tuesday evening, only laughed at the ‘wild rumours’, saying he had left his boss late Tuesday evening at about 8:30pm at his East Legon office, not London, and he looked hearty and cheerful.
“It is not true my brother” he told Graphic Online and explained that Mr. Joe Baidoe-Ansah, Member of Parliament (MP) for Effia-Kwesimintsim and member of parliament’s committee on government assurances as well as communications, was among the number of people to have visited Alan in his office on Tuesday.
Alan Kyerematen is the chairman and spokesperson for NPP’s Trade & Industry campaign sector committee for the 2016 elections.
