No government deserves more than 8 years – A-Plus

Maverick Artiste Kwame A-Plus has said that in his view, no government deserves to be in power for more than eight (8) years.

According to A-Plus a staunch supporter of Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo presidential nominee of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), 8 years is enough for every political party in power to accomplish what it has said in its manifesto.

Speaking to Kwame Gyan on State of the Nation, A-Plus mentioned that, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has been in power for long to have accomplished all that it promised since the campaign of the late Atta Mills.

A-Plus who sees the Mahama led administration as a continuum of the Atta Mills government asked the host “So God forbid if President Mahama dies and Amissah Arthur takes over does that mean he also deserves 8 years?” This was his answer to the host’s question that President Mahama has been in power for only a term.

He mentioned that, as a supporter of Nana Addo, he believes NPP does not even deserve more than 8 years, a belief which is not exclusive to the NDC but every political party that wins power.

A-Plus is currently promoting his new single ‘Aben be bom,’ a song which has become a bitter pill in the mouths of the ruling NDC supporters.
