Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan is targeting the goal king crown with Dubai-based side Al Ahli.
The 30-year-old has scored six goals in seven matches for the side since joining on loan from Chinese outfit Shanghai SIPG.
The former Sunderland goal machine has recovered from an injury which has slowed him in recent months.
And he’s already targeting winning the goal king crown in the United Arab Emirates with Al Ahli.
“For now I am doing well for my Club, I have been able to score a couple of goals for them,” he told Hot FM.
“I just hope I maintain my form. It is not going to be easy but I hope to win the goal-king title at the end of the season.”
“There are some good players in the League as well so it is not going to be easy but I hope I win it.”
