Takoradi: Police officers sustain injuries as military and police clash at Kwesimintsim;

army-800x445Military and Police personnel have clashed at Kwesimintsim Police station over an arrest of two Military men for careless driving.

A very reliable source tells Skyy Power FM’s NHYIRABA PAA KWESI SIMPSON the military men from Takoradi Airforce who were angered by the arrest of their colleagues besieged the Police station around 11:30pm on Saturday and assaulted the police men on duty. And as if that was not enough, they returned on Sunday, December 18, in the morning to launch another attack on another batch of police personal on duty.

Scores of Police officers have sustained injuries as a result. Currently, the leadership of the two Groups are locked up in a meeting to resolve the issue
