Former Member of Parliament for the Ningo Prampram constituency, Enoch Teye Mensah says the NDC will continue to lose prominent members due to the high level of indiscipline within the party.
He noted that, the indiscipline problem which has not been attended to by the party leadership, led to the exit of former first lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings from the party.
The former first lady left the ‘Umbrella’ fraternity for various reasons but mainly due to certain party decisions. She left the party in the run up to the 2012 general elections after she lost the bid to lead the party into that election.
But Mr E.T Mensah insists that “NDC is not the disciplined party we used to have some years ago. Big people such as Nana Konadu and Obed Asamoah and others need to come back.”
Speaking on NEAT FM’s morning show dubbed ‘Ghana Montie’, E.T. Mensah advised the party to reunite with Nana Konadu and other prominent individuals who have left the party so that the NDC becomes exciting again.
“The indiscipline in the party is just too much and so if we want to see the party bounce back again, then a truth and reconciliation platform need to be set to hear each and everyone and the problems they are facing. It is high time we do something about the indiscipline in the party,” he told host Kwesi Aboagye.
