A former president of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama (JDM) has condemned attacks on functionaries and supporters of his party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
In a response to news about the confiscation of 5 vehicles of the National Organiser of the NDC (Kofi Adams) by soldiers at his Tema Golf City residence, JDM called the incessant attacks needless and something that must come to an end.
On his active verified Facebook page where he shared his concerns about the ‘unprovoked attacks,’ Facebook followers of the former president of Ghana replied and responsed. From both sympathisers of his party and the opposition, some cheered him for condemning the act whilst others also described his comments as ‘hypocritical’ since his government did same to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) when the NDC under his watch won power in 2012.
