4 Trainee nurses dead in gory accident after music awards jams (PHOTOS)

370149288_774431Four final year trainee nurses of the Tanoso Community Health Nursing Training College are reportedly dead in a gory accident Saturday.

The deceased are 23-year-old Florence Osei Tutu, Dora Maga 24, Gifty Yeboah 24 and Vivian Coffie 23. According to reports, the four were returning from a VGMA Nomination Jam held in Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo region when the vehicle they were travelling in was involved in an accident on the Sunyani-Abeseim road around 12am.

The Brong Ahafo Regional MTTD Commander, Superintendent Daniel Oppong Asirifi confirmed this to Adom News Sunday.

He indicated that, preliminary investigations revealed that, the deceased were in a Nissan Premier vehicle with registration number BA 486-13. The driver lost control, veered off the road and somersaulted several times before hitting a tree. Supt Asirifi said the four ladies in the vehicle died on the spot but the driver who also sustained severe injuries is currently on admission at the Sunyani government hospital.

Meanwhile, the bodies of the deceased have been deposited at the Brong Ahafo Regional hospital morgue for autopsy.
