Adisadel College, an all boys school in the Central Region of Ghana celebrated it’s 107th anniversary in Cape Coast last week. Climaxing the anniversary was a Speech and Prize-giving day celebration on 11th March, 2017 which also witnessed the commissioning of a project by the 1992 year group.
The $100,000 project is not to construct an entirely new dining hall but remodelling of the present one which is the biggest in West Africa. Financed by the 1992 year group, the project was commissioned by Honourable Samuel Atta Akyea, Minister for Works and Housing who is an old student of Adisadel College, the best boys school in Africa.
More than 90% of projects of Adisadel College are financed by the old students who are proudly called Santaclausians. Each year group is responsible for umpiring the College’s Speech and Prize-giving day twenty-five (25) years after their completion where the year group is responsible for championing a project in the school.
