KNUST Student allegedly sodomizes 10-year-old to death

A level 300 student of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) is in the grips of the police for allegedly sodomizing a 10 year old girl to death at Anwomaso a suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.

According to family sources, Richmond Mensah has been living with the deceased’ s family at Anwomaso through the benevolence of the deceased’s aunt.

Narrating her ordeal to her family members before her death, the 10 year old girl explained that Richmond Mensah has allegedly been sodomizing her for the past 3years.

She further stated that after every act he gives her paracetamol pills to ease the pain and warns her not to inform any one else she will be killed.

But she suddenly fell ill and through various test at Komfo Anokye teaching hospital it was discovered that the sodomy act and the wrong medication has had an adverse effect on her health leading to her death.

The matter is currently being investigated by the Ashanti Regional police command whilst the accused, Richmond Mensah is in Police custody.

He will reappear in court on the 26th April, 2017.
