DISTURBING PHOTO: Jealous lover pours acid on girlfriend in Western Region

naomi-addai-750x406The police at Wassa Amenfi East in the Western Region are hunting for a man believed to be in his late 20s at Wassa Japa.

He is currently on the run after allegedly pouring acid on his supposed             ex-girlfriend, one Naomi Addai, 21, on Wednesday.

We gathered that the suspect, popularly called Cashman, poured the acid on the victim when he saw her walking with a man believed to be her teacher.

Noami is currently at the Wassa Akropong Government Hospital receiving treatment.

An eyewitness, who gave his name as Oheneba Banasco, said, “The boy after pouring the acid on his girlfriend, bolted and the police have intensified their search for him.”

He continued, “The boy poured acid on the victim and everybody can see the bruises on her face and also some part of her body.”

He explained that the 21-year-old girl was seeing off her teacher at Wasa Japa Aheneboboano when the unfortunate incident occurred, not knowing that the suspect, believed to be the ex-boyfriend of Naomi, was hiding somewhere in the darkness.

Oheneba Banasco asserted that the victim saw the guy and tried to hide herself behind a maize seller.

The eyewitness asserted that the boy managed to locate his ex-girlfriend, rushed on her and allegedly poured the acid on her and the maize seller as well.
