Wassa East District Assembly rejects Wilson Arthur as DCE

Chief Executive Officer of Wilsad Support, operators of Skyy Media Group, Wilson Arthur has been rejected by Wassa East District Assembly as District Chief Executive.

The nominee missed the mark by just a single vote. The Skyy Power FM CEO needed 20 out of the 30 votes.
There were 19 YES against 11 No. Wilson Arthur failed to secure that 2/3rd majority needed for his confirmation. Second round of voting is expected within 10 days.
