Who is to be blamed for Sarkodie’s ‘Jennifer Lomotey’ lyrics; GES, Sarkodie or Komfo Anokye? – Possi Gee

CEO of MOB Studios, Awal Alhassan, known in Showbiz as Possi Gee has quizzed critics of Sarkodie’s lyrics in ‘ Jennifer Lomotey’ a song originally owned by Kurl Songx, winner of 2016 MTN Hitmaker.
According to Possi Gee, the producer of Shatta Wale’s hit song ‘Ayoo,’ who is to be blamed for the controversial myth that Sarkodie mentioned in the song; Ghana Education Service (GES), Sarkodie or Komfo Anokye?
Speaking to www.233times.net on phone, Possi Gee said he was taught in school that Komfo Anokye cursed the Krobos with promiscuity so that myth is a public knowledge. “Is Komfo Anokye to be blamed for cursing the Krobos?” he asked. He added, “Then I guess GES is to be blamed as well for allowing it to be taught in schools or?” He wondered why Sarkodie is attacked for repeating that myth in a song.
Possi Gee asked “Who will then be given the GHC2 million that the Krobo (Kloma Hengme) youth group is demanding. Will it be given to all Krobo descendants or the youth group and for what reason will that money be paid?”
Possi Gee said he is still waiting for an answer to his question as to who is to be blamed for Sarkodie’s lyrics in ‘Jennifer Lomotey’ song.
A verse in the ‘Jennifer Lomotey’ song rapped by Sarkodie said “A good Krobo lady who has beads on her waist, Komfo Anokye has cursed her with promiscuity.”

If you don’t know the source of something, you don’t add it to your intellectual property. People don’t know the source of the Okomfo Anokye story; so we just want you to shut up about it. If you say it and we get hold of you, we’re just going to deal with you. Okomfo Anokye did not curse krobo women. If you ever say that thing to us, we interpret it as insult. And we will drag you to court for accusing us for something you cannot account for. If we don’t get justice in court, we will resort to other form of justice like lynching or the likes. So please just beware !!! If you say you have studied at the University, then you should know better.
