6 dedicate their lives to God at WMA Thanksgiving

Six (6) people dedicated their lives to God at the just ended WMA ‘Thanksgiving’ held at the Takoradi Technical University (TTU) auditorium on 8th September, 2017.

Organised by Westline Entertainment, the event which was strictly for the gospel constituency in the Western Region recorded over 600 attendees. Mrs. Ernestina Konney, God is our light Restoration choir (Streams of living waters), Pastor David Arko, Tagoe Sisters, Rev. Yawson, Joyce Frimpong, amongst others led the patrons of the event to an unadulterated praise and worship.

“Our profound joy was seeing 6 people dedicate their lives to God. I remember a Pastor said something when we invited him for the event. He said that this event might be to save just a soul so he is happy to know that we are embarking on this. To us, we thought it was for just one soul but we are happy to witness 6 souls saved on that day. To me, this is the highlight of the Thanksgiving” Nana Kwesi Coomson, Public Relations Officer for Westline Entertainment said.

According to organisers of ‘Thanksgiving,’ they organised the event to express their appreciation to God for a successful Western Music Awards which was organised in April this year, to project Joyce Frimpong, a gospel Artiste in Western Region and to fulfil 1 Thessalonians 5:18 which tasks Christians to give thanks in all things.

“We solicited for funds at the Thanksgiving event to donate to an underprivileged home in the region so that is what we will be doing soon” organisers revealed.
