Antonio Conte has accused the English media of trying to create problems for him and his players at Chelsea.
The Italian has been under a bit of scrutiny as of late due to his team’s performances this season. But the Blues have won their last two matches, beating Watford last weekend and putting in a nice shift against Everton in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.
There have been many rumors swirling around Conte and Chelsea these past few weeks, with the latest suggesting that some players in the squad have contacted former assistant coach Steve Holland to air their discontent with the way things are being handled now that he’s gone.

There was also talk of the players challenging Conte over his training regime, asking him to tone it down as they didn’t feel they were being given enough rest.
The former Juve boss denied this, even claiming that his team were being made to train 70% less than in the previous campaign. And speaking in his press conference ahead of the trip to Bournemouth, he didn’t mince his words.

The manager also revealed that Holland has since contacted him to assure him that none of the players have reached out to him.

The Blues haven’t had that great of a season, coming off the backdrop of their amazing title win earlier this year, but they didn’t exactly kick things off in proper form last season and there’s still time to make up some ground.
A win at Dean Court on Saturday would do them a whole lot of good, but the rumors will continue to circulate unless they string some wins together.
