‘Extensive Chat with NKC’ premieres 17th November

Extensive Chat,’ an online personality profile programme, interactions with people who are doing things worth sharing to inspire the younger generation, telling real stories and focusing on issues of interest will premiere on Friday 17th November, 2017.

The weekly programme targets the online audience via leading Ghanaian online news portal www.233times.net’s social media platforms and a dedicated Facebook page ‘Extensive Chat with NKC.’ It will be telecasted live on Facebook with a recorded version on Youtube.

Extensive Chat will aim among other things to:

  • Create a forum of vivid, honest and dispassionate discussion on what people go through daily.
  • Tell the stories of people to inspire the younger generation to do better in their areas of interest and practice.
  • Share real life experiences and engage opinions and how these experiences transform lives.
  • Project the Western Region in particular and Ghana in general to the online audience by covering areas to attract investments and tourism.

The programme is mainly a sit-down chat show at a specific location with guest(s).  In some occasions, Extensive Chat will host the programme from some selected locations like barbershops, pubs, beach and other places people usually hangout.

The first guest on Extensive Chat is Dr. Kemi Olawaiye-Dampson, a medical doctor living with myasthenia gravis (severe muscle weakness). The first edition of the programme titled ‘Helping the sick in her weakness,’ the host of the show, Nana Kwesi Coomson reveals that “Dr. Kemi’s story is the catalyst for this programme. The team had an idea of this programme earlier but we were not sure when we will start. Dr. Kemi’s story compelled us to set things rolling. These stories and more are the ones we want to tell the world to inspire people to do better to make the world a better place, even in their weak state. I am very hopeful that Extensive Chat will bring the real hope and real talk to people.”

Hosted by Nana Kwesi Coomson, MSc Corporate Social Responsibility and Energy graduate from Robert Gordon University, United Kingdom, with five (5) years’ experience in new and traditional media, Extensive Chat is produced by Richard Wolley and Emmanuel Ampaabeng.
