After winning awards at WMA, Nero X toured the United States of America (USA) and just had a role as national road safety campaign ambassador. Kofi Kinaata also met with the United Nations and was made a Goodwill Ambassador.”
“Ayesem’s ‘Koti’ is a national hit song and he has performed on all the big stages in Ghana. Aya just had a record deal with a recognized record label, Korpis Records. Sayvee is always in the news for his contribution to society and more. These are the things that give me joy as an organizer of the awards” Mr. Ampaabeng added.
Egya Ampaabeng as he is affectionately called revealed that he is confident that before 2017 ends, most of the nominees will receive recognition across the country. “We did the awards to project the Artistes; both nominees and winners so I am happy the dream is manifesting. I am more than happy to witness this” Ampaabeng added.
According to Ampaabeng, the team is working very hard to make the 2018 awards better than the 2017’s. “We can do better than what we did this year. I can assure you that the 2018 awards would be better than what we had in 2017. I can bet that” Ampaabeng concluded.
