Ajara Mapouka of Junka Town fame is dead

“She complained of stomach upset yesterday and she was rushed to the Effia Nkwanta Hospital. She died at the Effia Nkwanta Hospital when she was rushed there” Solomon Bosomtwi-Sam, Director of Junka Town series told www.233times.net.

According to Mr. Bomsontwi-Sam, “yesterday (1st January, 2018) I received a lot of calls from the Junka Town crew but I couldn’t pick them because of the noisy ambience at the beach. I had missed calls from Too Much, Alaska and the rest of the crew. I wondered what was wrong but when I finally picked Tracy’s call, she told me that Ajara Mapouka is dead.”

Mr. Bosomtwi-Sam who is affectionately called by his fans as D’junka General said “Too Much and the rest of the crew went to the mortuary to confirm that she is dead. I posted it on Facebook when Too Much and the crew confirmed it. Her baby father has also confirmed it. He wept bitterly yesterday when I met him.”

“I couldn’t control myself when Jaffaru, her baby father was weeping uncontrollably. Atemuda and everyone with me started crying too when we met the baby father” Mr. Bosomtwi-Sam told www.233times.net.

Real name Mansa Mensah, Ajara Mapouka was introduced to D’junka General by C.O. Walu, also an Actor in the famous Junka Town series. Too Much is said to have given her the nickname Ajara Mapouka whilst on set shooting the Junka Town series.

Initailly, the the series was titled Ajara Mapouka until it was later changed to Junka Town. 

Madam Mansa Mensah who hails from Cape Coast in the Central Region left behind two children.
