Philip Osei Bonsu is the new host of ‘Eko si sen’ on Asempa FM

Celebrated Western Region radio personality, Philip Osei Bonsu who until his new move to Multimedia was the Western Region’s Public Relations Officer of Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) is the new host of ‘Eko si sen’ on Asempa FM.

Mr. Osei Bonsu who will host the arguably most listened late afternoon political show is a Tullow Scholar who holds an MSc in Corporate Communications and Public Affairs from the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland.

In 2017, Philip Osei Bonsu was amongst forty (40) fellows who were flown to the United States of America (USA) on the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) for a 6-week leadership training.

Philip Osei Bonsu is a corporate communications executive, a broadcast journalist and an entrepreneur. He also hosted Skyy Power FM’s weekend news analysis program ‘News Review.’ Additionally, he is the founder and CEO of OBPR Consult, a public relations firm.

Previously, Philip served as the Brand Manager of Skyy Power FM and doubled as the host of Western Region’s biggest breakfast show, the Jolly Breakfast Show, on the same station. At the corporate level, he worked as the Corporate Communications Manager of Skyy Media Group.

Mr. Osei Bonsu is committed to promoting entrepreneurship to youth; he is the convener for the Western Regional Youth Entrepreneurship Summit, which aims to equip youth with the right entrepreneurial skills to tap into the immense opportunities the Western Region provides. He hopes to train 10,000 youths in the next ten years. Philip believes entrepreneurs create jobs and boost economies.

Mr. Osei Bonsu takes over the ‘Eko si sen’ seat from the late Kwadwo Asare Baffour Acheampong populary known as KABA who died in 2017.
