Constructors and Managers of the Takoradi Mall are hopeful that by December 2018, the mall would be ready and opened to the general public for use.
Residents of Sekondi-Takoradi are very excited by the speed with which the Takoradi Shopping Mall project is going.
The residents who are very optimistic of the positive impact the mall is going to have on the economic activities in the Metropolis say they cannot wait to see the day that the Mall would be commissioned for thr Twin City folks to enjoy especially at a time when all the Major cities in Ghana have already gotten theirs.
After about two months hold up of the project, work is now progressing at a very impressing rate and is it very likely the Mall will be ready for patrons by end of December 2018.
Last week, some government officials including the Regional Minister Dr Kweku Afriyie, Minister for Railway and MP for Essikado, Joe Ghartey as well as Kobby Okyere Darko who is the Deputy Minister for Aviation and MP for Takoradi went for a familiarisation tour of the Project site.
They were impressed with the progress of work and expressed optimism about the benefits the Mall would bring to the Metropolis and the Region at large.
The Public Relations consultant for the project, Paa Kwesi Simpson tells www.233times.net that the Mall would bring immense benefit to the people of Western Region including employment, ready market for farmers and economic boost.
The Project is owned by Takoradi Shopping Mall Limited, a fully registered Ghanaian Company and the contractor is WBHO Ghana Ltd.
