Takoradi: Commercial sex worker calls in Police after customer refuses to pay

It was interesting sight to behold at Airport Ridge in the Sekondi/Takoradi Metropolis last weekend when a prostitute who had been taken to a hotel by a male patron called in the police when the man refused to pay her before the act.

A neighbour who witnessed the incident explains to Yours in the indefatigable service of Ghana, Nhyiraba Paa Kwesi Simpson the lady, in her twenties and believed to be a student in one of the Tertiary Institutions in the oil city met the man in his 40s at Vienna City in Takoradi and negotiated with him. She charged him 200 cedis for the night.

She then followed the man to his hotel in a different taxi car. Upon arrival at the Hotel, the prostitute demanded 15 cedis from the man to pay the Taxi fare but the man refused with the explanation that, the taxi fare was not part of the negotiation.

The prostitute then paid the Taxi driver after which she entered the hotel room. Based on what had happened with the fare, the lady demanded her money before the act, a request the man refused saying he has to have the intercourse to see whether the vagina is enjoyable before he pays.

After few minutes of heated exchanges, the Lady reportedly picked her phone and called the police. In no time, police personnel in three vehicles had arrived,  according to the neighbour.

They asked the man to pay the money but surprisingly he had nothing on him so he went to borrow from a neighbour to settle. Then there was yet another drama.

Immediately after paying the money, the man demanded he does the intercourse since he has paid.

It was one of the police personnel who advised him to let go because if he wasn’t lucky and anything happened to the Lady in the course of the act, he would be held responsible.

He heeded to the advice and allowed the lady to leave.
