At a colourful ceremony at the Best Western Atlantic Hotel yesterday 12th May, 2018, the second edition of the Western Music Awards sponsored by Rigworld Training Center came off.
Hardworking Artistes were awarded for their exceptional works with 2017 as the review year. Kofi Kinaata for the second time emerged as the Artiste of the year.
The Awards Night saw performances from Bobo Dada Bee, Yaw Lucas, Kobby Major, Dj Switch, Casta Troy, Nero X, Tru7h, Scurrybwoy, Ayesem, Ayma, Don Kweli and Kofi Kinaata
Attended by famous people such as Kwabena Kwabena, Wutah Kobby, DJ Swicth of TV Talented Kids fame, Deputy Minister of Energy, Hon. Joseph Cudjoe, Ekosii sen host Philip Osei Bonsu, Sammy Flex of Zylofon Media, Big Joe, Bessa Simons, Uncle Benedict of TV Talented Kids fame amongst others, below are the winners of the various categories;
