Sek/Tadi: Mother arrested for burning penis of her son for stealing GHc1 (DISTURBING PHOTOS)

It would be an under statement to even describe it as an act of cruelty but whatever way you choose to call it, a mother in her 30s has poured hot water on the groin of his 11 year old son causing severe and life threatening burns to his genital and greater part of his groin.

The Victim, Emmanuel Affenyi also known as Joe, a class two pupil of the Funko Catholic Primary revealed that on that fateful day, he returned from School very hungry and took a one cedi note in the room to buy food.

When he was questioned by her Mother whose name he gave as Sister Yaa and he confessed, she boiled some hot water and poured it on his groin leading to severe burns.

After the heartless act, the Mother reportedly started applying some concoction on it

This went on for about three days there by exacerbating the plight of the little boy

It was a good Samaritan who was moved by the boy’s predicament and sent him to the Kwesimintsim Hospital for attention on the evening of Sunday, May 6, 2018 because according to the Good Samaritan, the Parents claimed they didn’t have any money on them to send the victim to Hospital.

Nurses at the Hospital who were bewildered by the degree of burns alerted the police who rushed to the hospital to arrest the mother.

The victim’s stepfather who was among those who accompanied the victim to the hospital is also assisting the police in investigation.
