Takoradi: Youth of Zenith take over toilet from MP boys

Tension is looming at Zenith Electoral Area in Takoradi after disgruntled youth of the area took over the Public facility situated at Sekondi taxi rank from a group described as surrogates of the Takoradi Member of Paliament, Kobby Okyere Darko.

The youth, numbering over 20 claim the facility, which was given to some group of eight young men believed to belong to the camp of the MP is being poorly managed.

The aggrieved youth say the MP boys led by one Marfo have not done any maintenance on the facility since it was entrusted to their care in January 2017 when the NPP took over from the NDC Government.

The youth who forcibly took over the facility at dawn on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 describe the current condition of the facility as very deplorable adding over 132,000 Ghana cedis have been realised from the management of the facility since the MP boys took over yet it’s a philanthropist who has been giving money to the youth of the area for maintenance.

Meanwhile the MP boys have vowed to storm the area in their numbers to resist any attempt to take over the running of the Toilet from them.
