PHOTOS: KFC officially launched in Takoradi

Mohinani Group, the company with Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) franchise today Wednesday 13^th June, 2018 officially launched the food delivery service in Takoradi, Western Region.

Speaking at the launch, Mr. Ashok Mohinani, Executive Director of Mohinani Group outlined the employment opportunities that the opening of the KFC branch in Takoradi has provided to the youth and businessmen in the Metropolis. “It is their goal to cover most of other regions in the coming years” Mr. Mohinani added.

Located at the airport roundabout and on the same premises with Total Filling Station in Takoradi, the KFC branch is in partnership with Total Filling Station. Madam Mercy Samson, Legal and External Affairs Manager of Total Ghana also mentioned that Total Ghana is happy to partner with Mohinani Group to operate KFC as part of Total food corner.

The colourful event was attended by Omanhene of Essikado Traditional area Nana Kobina Nketia IV who cut the ribbon for the official opening of KFC in Takoradi, Sudeep Geethanandan, Business Head, Masco Food Limited, KFC’s food items suppliers, DSP Ayepa of Ghana Police Service, amongst others.

It was also revealed that from the construction of the KFC branch to employees at the restaurant are all locally sourced from Takoradi.
