Sumsum Reveals why Actresses refused to kiss him because of his big eyes

Sumsum, a popular actor in the Twi-speaking film industry has disclosed that actresses refuse to kiss him in movie roles.

He said these actresses always reject his kisses even when directed by producers.

In an interview on Accra FM, Sumsum (born Yaw Adu) said he was sure his bulging eyes may be the reason the actresses don’t feel comfortable to kiss him.

“The only actress I have kissed wasn’t a star but I later had an opportunity to kiss Vivian Jill in a movie. She needed a child and I had to sleep with her for her to conceive but she turned me down when I tried to kiss her. I did not ask her why she dodged me because I didn’t believe in myself either. Perhaps they think since I have big eyes, I might knock them with them,” he said.

He bemoaned the act of discrimination by some actresses when it comes to kissing in movies.

“I watched a movie in which Lilwin was directed to kiss Jackie Appiah she did not allow him to kiss her. Assuming it was Majid, she would have kissed him passionately,” he added.

According to Sumsum, the act of discrimination is usually perpetrated by most female especially those based in Accra.

The act of kissing in movies has become a controversial topic among movie enthusiasts.

While some have wonder how real kissing in movies is, others have also talked about its health implications.

In well-structured movie industries, medical check-ups are conducted for actors to make sure they don’t contract any illnesses through kissing.

Sumsum has starred in movies like ‘Bosom Ba,’ ‘Hansome Paddies,’ ‘Ogya Sunsum,’ ‘Abré Ne Bayie,’ ‘Judge Akasa’ and ‘Pastor’s Wife.’
