VIDEO: Woman assaulted by police at Midland recounts her ordeal

 

Patience Osafo, the lactating mother who was assaulted by a police officer at the Shiashie branch of Midland Savings and Loans is narrating how the incident happened.

In a video that has gone viral on social media, police officer, Frederick Amanor Skalla, was seen virtually punching and slapping the nursing mother in a banking hall.

Starting with an umbrella, the policeman hit the woman and her baby several times in the head before he started slapping and punching her.

Skalla, is currently at the Police Headquarters awaiting possible prosecution for indecent assault.

Meanwhile, the company has admitted the issue was not handled properly and has since issued an apology to the assaulted customer and the general public.
