Ebony’s dad releases alleged list of artistes paid for Tribute concert

The rift between Bullet and Ebony’s father has taken a different dimension as the latter makes more damning allegations against the manager of his late daughter.

A document presented by the father, Mr. Opoku Kwarteng shows names of artistes written in ink and the amount they were allegedly paid for performing at Ebony’s tribute concert.

It also includes the cost of production for the concert.

The list includes artistes like Edem, Keche, R2bees, Kurl Songx, and others:

Edem – 3,000 Cedis
Keche – 3,000
Captain Planet – 2,000
Coded – 1000
R2bees – 3,000
Ras Kuku – 1000
Raquel – 1000
Kurl Songs – 1000
Episode – 700
MCs:
DKB – 1000
Ogee (Ebony’s hypeman) – 500
DJs:
DJ Chiwawa – 500

It also states that GHc 4,000 was given to the media as ‘soli.’

Few days ago, Mr Kwarteng said in an interview that he was given only GHc 2,000 out of about GHc 39, 000 accrued from concert.

According to him, the concert was meant to set up a foundation in the name of Ebony but Bullet was not transparent in dealing with the matter.

Bullet, unhappy by the turn of events took to Facebook, to mention all monies he had given to Ebony’s father as proceeds from other engagements and revenue from Ebony’s works.

However, in an interview with TV3, the father said he knew nothing about any concert in Ohio, contrary to Bullet’s assertion that he gave him more than his due after that gig.

Bullet who has described Mr Kwarteng as greedy has said he is no longer going to release songs Ebony worked on before she died.
