2008 Year Group of Adisadel College donates to school and peps up Students during Homecoming (PHOTOS/HIGHLIGHTS)

During the Homecoming of the 2008 year group of Adisadel College nicknamed Santa 08 which was also to mark the 10th anniversary of the year group since they graduated from the Best Senior High School in West Africa, the group donated a complete sound system worth thousands of Ghana Cedis to their alma mater.

The sound system is to support the all-boys school’s public addressing system. In addition to the sound system that the group donated, they also gave an undisclosed amount of money to support the horticultural project of the Santa City.

“We are grateful for your support for the school and coming back here after 10 years. On behalf of the main stakeholders of the school, we accept this donation and ask that may God replenish whatever you’ve lost to get us this. We are grateful and God bless you. Welcome home, this is your school so feel free” Mr. William Kusi-Yeboah, the Headmaster of school that sits on a 103 acre land received the donation on behalf of the school.

The three day activity packed Homecoming which started from 26th October to 28th October, 2018 commenced with a Bonfire at the Sakora Park.  The Students of the school were given career guidance by the Old Students who are professionals in Media, Finance, Legal, Real Estate, Armed Forces and Entrepreneurship.

The group as well joined the Entertainment Night of the Students where both the current Students and Old Students performed on the night. The Santa 08 members also joined the Anglican Church Service of the College on Sunday 28th October, 2018 where Priests of the School blessed them for looking back to the oven that baked them.

In his appreciation, the President of the Santa 08 Group, Kojo Kwansah Aidoo said “Executives of the committee would like to thank the Santa 08 members who made it or could not make it but contributed directly or indirectly to the 10th anniversary celebration; we say ayekoo, thank you.”

The Executives of the Santa 08 were retained by an overwhelming endorsement of group members due to their great deal of effort and endurance for the group. A new department, Public Relations was created for the year group which is now headed by Corporate Communications Executive, Nana Kwesi Coomson.
