Fraud alert: “Takoradi Shopping Mall is not recruiting, don’t pay money to anyone for job at the mall” PRO

The Public Relations Officer (PRO) for Takoradi Shopping Mall project, Nhyiraba Paa Kwesi Simpson who is also a Broadcaster with Connect FM in Takoradi has sounded a word of caution to job seekers that they should not pay money to anyone who ask them for money for job at the Mall.

According to the PRO there are fraudsters in Takoradi who are using social media to advertise job vacancies at the Mall. “When these job seekers contact the fraudsters, they demand money and promise them job at the Mall. When we say shopping mall what comes to mind; they are spaces for shops to operate in so if there would be any job vacancy it would come from the shops and not the Shopping Mall itself” Mr. Simpson added.

Job seekers are therefore advised to be ware of such scam in the Metropolis.

The Takoradi Mall project which is located behind Edzii Goil Gas Station is set to be completed in December 2018.
