Ace Gospel Songstress Mrs. Amy Newman cries uncontrollably on live radio (PHOTOS)

Legendary Gospel Songstress Mrs Amy Newman last Saturday 24th November, 2018 broke down uncontrollably in the studios of Skyy Power FM in Takoradi when callers proved her wrong that her assertion that Western region does not love her is totally wrong.

Mrs. Amy Newman who has said severally during media interviews that the Western Region where she hails from does not like her because of some palpable lies they have spread about her and some of the embarrassing things they have propagated about her and her Ministry. She said “they really embarrassed me with lies which ended up on radio. I thought the Western Region where I come from would support me but they were the ones disgracing me.”

On the award winning OC Showbiz Review last Saturday, Nana Kwesi Coomson, the host of the weekly programme that Saturday who was confident that the Western region loves Mrs Amy Newman challenged callers to prove her wrong by calling to tell her how much they love her and how her songs have impacted their lives.

Myriad of callers shared testimonies of how her songs have changed their lives and how her Ministry has shaped them. Abekah a caller from Kwesimintsim who started the emotional speech began, “Oh Maa, I have heard some of the things that were said about you, some of the painful things that were spread all over but know that some of us knew from the beginning that it wasn’t true. As a pace setter who sings to change lives these things will come, I have been a victim of this myself in Takoradi but know that some of us love you unconditionally. I am even crying as I am saying this.”

Other callers also shared specific songs by Mrs Amy Newman and how it changed their lives. The overdose of love from callers, mostly the younger generation surprised Mrs Amy Newman who could not hold back her tears and broke down uncontrollably on live radio. She was chocked with lumps in her throat making it difficult for her to speak when a question was asked by the host, forcing the programme to go on abrupt song break.

With 9 albums to her credit, Mrs. Amy Newman is set to release her 10th studio album ‘Sei Sei Me’ (Covenant Album) on 1st of December, 2019 at the Redemption Power Ministries at Sakaman in Accra. The 10 track album according to Mrs Amy Newman is her wilderness journey after her last release 14 years ago. “I have been through the wilderness and I have suffered for 14 years to release this album. It will change lives and rescue the perishing” Mrs. Amy Newman said on OC Showbiz Review.
