Central Music Awards 18: Central Region roots for Jay Baba for Best International Act category

 

Real name Yahaya Alhassan, Jay Baba, the Central Region Artiste who is flying high the flag of Central Region in USA has won the hearts of followers of the Central Music Awards especially for this year’s Best International Act category.

Out of the seven (7) contenders for the Best International Act category, Jay Baba’s name keeps coming up as an obvious winner when stakeholders both in formal or informal ways meet to discuss that category.

The Artiste who started music in 2007 in Nigeria and is inspired by the works of Kwabena Kwabena and Nhyiraba Kojo has carved an enviable brand as a wordsmith and a deep thinker when it comes to composition of music.

He is noted for songs like ‘Kudi’ featuring Old Soja and ‘Give it to me’ featuring Danso Abbiam.  Formerly known as J. Farrakhan, Jay Baba has one album titled ‘Sekina’ to his credit. The 10-track album which was released in 2015 is still enjoying massive patronage from lovers of good music.

Jay Baba has worked with great Artistes like Kobby Simple, Boggy Wenzday, Fresh Prince of 4X4 fame, Sandaz Black, X2P, Gbadaji, Yemi Sax, Chris B and many more.
